Where and When
Times below are calculated with 4 knots and ca 12 hours travel/day. Idea is to travel 24h/day when possible and stop over when we find some nice spots. If possible we will travel faster and hich hike with barges.

2009.07.06 Take the mast down at the entrance on the Danube-Black Sea Canal, secure the mast on deck.
2009.07.07 The Canal to Donau, Constantza to Cernavoda, 35NM, and go through the 2 locks.
2009.07.08 -2009.07.09 Cernavoda to Ruse, 106 NM
2009.07.10 -2009.07.14 Ruse to Turnu-Severin 235 NM
